As you all know for weeks, I’ve been bitchin ranting about my situation with the post office losing my package (classic pair of Jordans not sold in stores). I wrote about my dilemma at my other blog home and voiced my struggle to the people. Well wekks have gone by and there was a resolution… I just forgot to tell yall. A brother be busy, n sh*t! Well let me update you on the end of this saga.

So a week after i posted my blog, I received a phone call from the USPS claims department. They told me that they had on file that I placed a claim/complaint, but didn’t have any details on the actual claim. I laughed, telling the representative that since I spoke to 50-11 people and actually WENT to the post office 3 times, I’m shocked that they had no data! I gave him the back story, which you can read in the link above. he asked me to give him my original confirmation #. Now, I wasn’t near my computer and knew I had to pounce on this opportunity to clear up this situation or put in a HEAVY claim, so luckily I had the info in a email I sent to myself (God Bless #TEAMBLACKBERRY).

I gave him the tracking number, and he searched. He then tells me that he knows what happened to my package! I immediately o_O and -__- and especially THIS waiting on his explanation. He says “Your package was returned to sender as address unconfirmed. It was returned to us 2 days ago” I’m:-O at these turn of events! So I ask if they still have it in the office, and he tells me that they already sent it back to the person who shipped it, in California. Smelling a #swindle, I thank the rep for his help and contacted the original shipper.

I informed him that he should receive the package soon, confirmed my address, and told him to ship it back when he got it. We split the cost of shipping. I also asked him to put in for signature confirmation to hold them accountable. he agreed. A few days later…

Got em!

I have a couple of thoughts about this whole situation:

1) We had a substitute deliver that week. Either they tried to steal my package and returned it once the heat was on, they deliverd it to the wrong address and it was returned, or they NEVER sent it out and they just couldn’t find it. The address was printed out. No way the sender messed that up.

2) If you send anything USPS thats valuable, get insurance or at the LEAST, signature confirmation. That way someone will be held accountable for any BS that occurs.

3) I never knew so many postal workers just didn’t give a FCUK! We had a substitute UPS man that week and he left my workout equipment I ordered RIGHT OUTSIDE MY DOOR! I’ve heard the same happen to people with computers and much more valuable items. Shyts crazy B!!!

All in all, I’m happy and relieved that I finally got my kicks. I thought they were a wrap, and charged it to the game, but the good Lord shined upon me, and will smite all oppressive postal workers!
