TGIF!! This week was good for me. Attended yet another wedding, and got to be the MC! You already know it was live! My boys had jokes on me for my choice in food selection, but I’m on a mission! All of them are familiar with the #BeTheBetter movement, and the ghost of @BarringtonBFit and his federales always hang over me hahaha! It’s all a matter of making the right choices and thinking ahead.
The picture in the post is very appropriate and capture how I feel about the fitness process. There may be dark days, losses, and frustration. However, there is always a reward at the end! I will continue to keep that in mind!
I weighed myself today, and at 192.5 I’m officially 4.3 lbs down from June 1st, when I decided to rededicate myself to the total fitness process. This is major for me, because I see the progress and feel even more excited to keep going! My “official” weigh in date is on Mondays, and this week I weighed in at 194.8, 1.2 lbs down from my official start date of 196.0 for the BFFM annual summer contest. Even more importantly, my body fat is decreasing and Lean Body Mass increasing. Aint nothing more to do than to keep going!
I haven’t done much cardio this week, but I hope to get in 2 more sessions to bring it to 3 for the week. Hopefully with this and smart eating choices, I will continue on my fat and weight loss plan. Have a great weekend and let me know how you are doing with your fitness journey!

Its been two weeks since I ended my month of Bikram yoga so I need to get back on track. For this next few weeks I will be doing kickboxing and running in the mornings. Bikram was amazing I recommend to anyone who wants to take fitness in a different direction. It test you mind, body and soul
My new goal is to cut out fruit juices. I somehow got hooked back on apple juice.
Not weighing myself because I lost .5 inches on my things but gained two pounds..
best thing is to measure your body fat honestly. that'll give you a more holistic view.
Even though I haven’t been as consistent with my workouts, I’ve been more careful with what I’ve been eating and since June 2, I’ve lost five pounds.
Thats wassup! Add in the workouts and you're gonna rock out!
