great post. However I am raising an eyebrow to some of the numbers. I am salty that only 12 schools made money on football. That is clearly due to spending , not because of revenue. People go to the games and the ratings for college sports are fantastic.
The solutions posted I think are key. As part of all these new conferences happening all over the place (as a Big East fan, I am salty) I think its important that spending is regulated.
