I get where the infographic is coming from, but we need to realize we live in a litigious society. Everyone is ready to sue without any knowledge of the legal process! We have all these Judge ____ shows on TV, law and Order, Court TV, and high-profile cases publicized to death! This is the world we live in, and technology is no different. You spend money to make money, and protecting your intellectual property is very important. It’s crazy that the billions some companies spend on these Patent issues, are deterring from actual innovation. I’m sure they factor this into production. I mean, whats the use of innovating if someone can steal your idea and make the same money off your work that you do (or more)?
