[SYNOPSIS] A Taste of #TrueBlood: Episode 45 – Let’s Get Out Of Here

Sookie and her amazing men. I swear, I’ve spoken about her enchanted loins before, but she has every main character fiending for her attention! You see this as Vampire Bill and Alcide try to save her in the opening scene. Sookie has Bills blood in her again (which can complicate things). You can also see the power struggle with the men who love Sookie. Alicde wants her to give up risking her life from vamps and she won’t hear it. You see his relationship with Debbie suffering greatly as a result of his addiction to Sookie.

So much so that Debbie tried to sellout Sookie to Antonia! The power of sex and how it controls peoples emotions in this show reigns supreme. She’s letting her feelings for Alcide make her do crazy things, again. Tara warns Sookie telepathically of the danger. She may hate vampires, but still has love for her friend. Now the covenant is trapped in their base, while Antonia goes out to kill vamps. I knew her agenda had to be bigger than vampires. Maybe total populus control?

Sookie having dreams of Bill and Eric!! Yo this pimpin dream scene is hilarious. She’s proposing that they be hers. This is where True Blood crossed over into an episode of Hung! A lot of women were dissin the dream sequence, they would RUN to be in the same position, LOL! I know the dreams sequences are starting to drag, but the hilarity in this scene was off the chain!

Antonia has a revolt on her hands! Looks like her followers aren’t up for the challenge and she won’t let them go quietly. She now has Eric under her control, which isn’t good for anyone!

Sam and Luna are still going strong. While Marcus wants to destroy Sam for messing with his wife. Tommy takes matters into his own hands, and tries to defend Sam’s honor by meeting up with Marcus to talk his shit! Alcide watches as Tommy (as Sam) gets pummelled and finally stops it. Its crazy how the real Sam finally gets his with Luna, while his little brother is getting his ass whooped!

Lafayette is still acting as Mayvis (the Creole lady’s) vessel! It’s crazy how s/he took over Hoyt’s crib with Arlene’s baby and Andy’s gun! Andy’s V obsession will cause him to do something crazy! Jason and Andy almost get shot trying to save the baby, so they call Jesus. Jesus and his magical  powers are prevalent this episode, as he uses his compassion to help Mayvis realize that she’s a spirit and needs to leave Lafayette and move on. Lafayette is the funniest character on this show. Mayvis thanks him, and he replies “You got it bitch!” LMAO. I swear only gay dudes can get away with talking to women like gangster rappers!

Yo Jason tried… he gets an E for effort and *daps* for getting prime vamp cooch. Him and Jessica finally do the do. I expect him and Hoyt to come to blows, and STAT!

Bill and Nat (the AVL spokesperson) have it out. She’s been blaming others for the many issues and Bill finally stands up to her to let her know she’s been blind to the main threat!They’re hosting a Festival of Tolerance, and she wants to host it for political and PR purposes.You can tell she has an ideological view of the world, integration, and tolerance. Of course we know that this festival will be one giant clusterfuck! Antonia springs her plan into action, by controlling the sheriffs and Eric, and making a scene where they spring into action, kill off Bill’s guards, and go after the King! Sookie runs in to warn him, and now the battle is on!

The ending was a little anticlimactic. They’ve done better I’m sure. This was a progression episode with a few cool scenes, and a good episode overall. Can’t wait for next week!
