What’s good everyone,
Just as a FYI before I get into my story: As you know, I try to post workout tips, articles, and my own personal progress here. I may not post everyday. However I have a bunch of content online that I would like you to follow and support.
1) If you’re on twitter follow me @Streetztalk
2) If you do tumblr, or like seeing funny/sexy/crazy pics and videos online, check my Tumblr HERE
3) My main site that I administer: SBM I write there on Wednesdays and we have many other writers that contribute to giving their views on male/female relationships, along with the everyday guy struggle. Check it HERE
That should cover the basic ways to keep up with my work online
Now for the fitness,
I’m starting to hate cardio again. It’s been a rough week. While I’m getting my weight training sessions in, I havent done any form of cardio in a week and change. My body definitely needed the break, but I know that I need it to reach my fitness goals. I also been missing my early AM breakfast, but made sure to have something by 10am. Stomachs been acting up too.
I find that it’s easy to quit on the difficult workouts when you stop. That’s why you have to be super driven, have support from friends, and keep your eyes on the prize. Although my AM workouts have been nada because I have slept in all week, I know I have to get at least 4 cardio session in by Sunday.
I think I just motivated myself again, lol. I realize now I need to switch it up often. I can’t rely on the same types of exercises. I have to do Insanity, treadmill, elliptical, rowing machine, stairs, bball, yoga, everything! I really want to say eff it, and I can’t wait for the day where I only have to do minimal cardio 3x a week for maintenance. Knowing me, I’ll have another fitness goal waiting and the bloody cardio will rear its ugly head, smh.
Keep going everyone, and let me know how the struggle affects you.

I'm with you! I absolutely loathe cardio. I really have to motivate myself to do it, especially when it involves me being on a machine staring into space for more than 20 minutes. I tend to do shorter intense cardio sessions of sprints and HIIT because I'm concentrating too hard to hate it. lol.
Good luck! You're doing a great job moving towards your goals.
THANK YOU!! Yeah I'm in the gym tonight on that stairmaster! smh…
I really enjoy the Les Mills classes…BodyPump, BodyJam, etc. I also love Zumba. I dont mind running but Id rather DANCE up a sweat anytime! I cant wait to be in maintenance mode either! I figured out that I needed to reduce my calories and eat more often. I was still eating the same amount of calories that I started with to lose my 30lbs. Ive stepped up my workouts to 5xs a week…cardio and strength training. Its crunch time! I want it badly! Im motivated and I cant stop now! Thanks for the tips Streetz!
I love cardio, but its been a struggle for me to get up this week for my morning workout. And I hate working out after work. I always have something I need to do, like go to the grocery store and/or cook dinner. I almost skipped this morning, but I forced myself out of the bed because I knew I wouldn't workout this evening, even though I told myself I would. lol. Right now, I'm mixing it up with Insanity and treadmill or trail running. I like to throw in a little elliptical on the weekends. My biggest problem is beating myself up about missing a workout. I hate when I do that.
We all miss workouts NIA. Just hit it harder the next day. No pause!
Weights and yoga are easy-peasy for me but I HATE cardio with all my heart. I do Zumba a couple times a week, but it doesn't really get my heart rate up. I tried a spinning class but that doesn't really work either. After spinning my legs stopped functioning but my heart rate hadn't changed all that much. SO pretty much, only bootcamp and running have the effect I need and I hate running. If I had to run away from someone trying to kill me, I'd probably just sit there and make it easy for them…lol
LOL I hear you. Spinning didn't work for you? wow…
I would say try stairmaster. THAT is a beast of a workout!
