Operation Summer Sexy: Week 10
What’s good everyone,
As you know, I’m big on personal health and working out. I wrote some previous articles on getting in better shape and focusing on your goals. I know it can be hard to work towards them, so I’m going to update you on my personal progress and hope that we can motivate each other to reach our goals.
Right now my current goal is to get my body right by July 1st, 2009. I’m in the “get over the hump” stage, so I’m grinding out heavy. Here are my current stats
Week 9 Weight – 200.4
Week 10 Weight - 198.4
Difference Weekly - 2.0 lbs lost
Difference to date: 0.6 lbs lost
Weight Training Expected – 3
Weight Training Actual -5
Cardio/Abs Training Expected – 6
Cardio/Abs Training Actual – 0
Target Weight – 190
Sorry I posted this so late. My bad. It’s good news though! I lost two pounds essentially doing “nothing”. The main thing was that I cycled of my creatine supplement, as it did its job for me well. The water retention probably added to the weight loss. This week I took a 6 day lifting hiatus to let my body rest and adjust. I’m doing total body workouts on Saturday and Monday then going back to my normal schedule Wednesday. I also changed my milestone date to 7/1/09 as we reached Milestone 1, gained more lean muscle, and need to lose a few pounds to start seeing “cuts”.
I stuck with my perfect pushup regimen too during this downtime, so I’m not completely inactive. I’m well on my way to reaching 190. Diet is important. I have to eat responsibly, watch my portions, and all that good stuff. I would consider myself beach ready, but not at the level I want. Gotta shoot for the moon and hope to reach the stars!
