What’s good everyone,

As you know, I’m big on personal health and working out.  I wrote some previous articles on getting in better shape and focusing on your goals. I know it can be hard to work towards them, so I’m going to update you on my personal progress and hope that we can motivate each other to reach our goals.

Right now my current goal is to get my body right by May 15th, 2009. I’m in the “get over the hump” stage, so I’m grinding out heavy. Here are my current stats

Week 8 Weight – 200.0

Week 9 Weight - 200.4

Difference Weekly - 0.4 lbs gain

Difference to date: 1.4 lbs gain

Target Weight – 190

Weight Training  Expected – 3

Weight Training  Actual -5

Cardio/Abs Training Expected – 6

Cardio/Abs Training Actual – 2

No real change. No real gain. I continue to see results in my body structure. I gained size in total body, but still haven’t budged in weight. I’ve conceded that as long as I’m rocking creatine that my weight won’t budge unless I’m doing heavy duty cardio. Since I’m lifting 6 out of 7 days, and doing the perfect pushup workout every other day, I don’t want to exert my body and hurt myself. I’m going to do at least 3-4 times cardio (and actually stick to it) I also need to taper my meals so I’m not eating heavy late. It may take a severe nutrition shift for me to gain muscle and lose weight. Either way, 10 pounds is nothing to me.

Now, if this weight wasn’t budging, and I wasn’t seeing bodily gains, I’d be upset. I know that I’m still in great shape, while striving to be in Ultimate shape. Setting “impossible” goals only feuls you to reach an endpoint that you will find accomplished and desirable. Let’s see where next week takes me!

Summer is 5 weeks away! Stay on that grind!

I advise you to cut back heavy on the red meat and get on a vegetarian diet if you wanna lose the weight.

    Peace

      Good lookin Chi,

I actually have no problem losing the weight under normal circumstances. Im experimenting seeing what i can/can't eat and still lose weight.

I don't eat red meat like that anyway, and I wont be able to sustain a veggie diet forever, so i dont want to do temporary.

I got eating plans, just gotta stick to em!
