Operation Summer Sexy: Week 6

What’s good everyone,

As you know, I’m big on personal health and working out.  I wrote some previous articles on getting in better shape and focusing on your goals. I know it can be hard to work towards them, so I’m going to update you on my personal progress and hope that we can motivate each other to reach our goals.

Right now my current goal is to get my body right by May 8th, 2009. I’m in the “get over the hump” stage, so I’m grinding out heavy. Here are my current stats

Week 5 Weight – 194.0

Week 6 Weight - 196.8

Difference Weekly - 2.8 lbs gain

Difference to date: 3.5 lbs lost

Target Weight – 185

Weight Training  Expected – 3

Weight Training  Actual -2

Cardio/Abs Training Expected – 6

Cardio/Abs Training Actual – 3

This weel I suffered a crazy setback. Something I wasn’t expecting. I went into my Dr. for my semi annual physical and my blood had high CK levels. I was put on Timeout on Thursday and had to stop with my workout. I had to go in today to give more blood so they can measure the CK levels and see if it was a natural occurence or if something more is goin on. I should be fine. I also reacquainted myself with my friends this weekend: Mickey Dees, Big Johns Pizza, etc. lol. I didn’t O.D., but I definitely indulged. Since I couldn’t workout, I didn’t burn this excess fat and it looks like I retained some pounds. Im not worried because I’m going in diet and weight wise.

I’m going back to my creatine/no explode supplement regimen. These supplememnts assist in muscle growth and gives you extra energy. Check out more supplement info HERE. I wanted to lose some more weight, but now is the time to eclipse that plateau and make it happen! I’m still on target for 5/15. Nothing will throw me off. Victory is not an option. If you suffer setbacks, go twice as hard and get to your goal. NO EXCUSES. Wish me luck this week, and good luck with your training!

    i'm also on a mission but my goal is to increase my body weight. i want to put on 7-10 pounds of muscle. i lift and use whey protein but i think my problem is that i do entirely too much cardio (basketball). i've never thought about using creatine.

      Yo Tun,

      Real talk my sons (Spr 03) told me after a month in the gym in 06 that My body mass increased, because they remember the kid screamin at em in wife beaters, lol.

      If you trying to increase muscle mass, I seriously cosign Creatine. You can continue ballin also! The creatine will increase my weight but Im going to do cardio to counteract it. Im tryin to lose 10 then add muscle, but I sd Eff it Im going for broke to break this yo-yo effect with my weight!

      But yea, creatine fa sho!

    Look at this. Negroes gettin in a shape and sh*t. I been on Operation Ultrabeast for about 3 Weeks now.lol. I'm heavy in the game with NaNo Vapor and Protein supplementing throughout the day. 2 days a week are focused on 20-30 minutes of hard cardio and 2-3 days focused on lifting weights. Most my sets are 8 reps with a few exercises being 10. I'm dropping a 1-2 lbs a week but need to slow that down. On the other hand, the muscle pizzle is starting to show already and the abs are peaking through.

    Goals: Kill body fat.Increase Muscle Mass.Be in track and field shape come the fall.

      I cosign on your entire post. I swim in the AM too, but I want to do 3 weeks of hardcore cardio as well. That stairmaster = BAWSE

      Don't all yall Que nilkkas need to be D1 athletes or funny a$$ comedians before gettin online though? lololol u should have no problems!!

        Just came back and realized what you said. I actually wasn't that funny at all…which made some nights very long.lol.

        And since when do black folks swim recreationally?

          LMAO!!! Tell me about it!

          I never learned how to swim. Learning now. Im the 40 yr old virgin of swimming, lol. I heard it does wonders cardio wise so Im trying to do it more often to see what’s up. I know I sound like a 65 yr old White man, but I gotta get it in!
